Mango Lemonade is made with common and easily available ingredients, and it's very easy to prepare at home. Whenever the sun gets too harsh, a glass of mango lemonade is all you need to feel cool and refreshed. The natural sweetness of ripe mangoes combined with the tang of fresh lemon or lime makes it a delightful treat for all ages. It’s juicy, tasty, and always brings back good memories.

Common Ingredients

  1. Ripe Mangoes<
Use fully ripe mangoes for the best flavor and sweetness. They form the base of the drink and give it a rich, fruity taste.

  2. Lime Juice / Lemon Juice / Both
Freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice adds a tangy twist that balances the sweetness of the mango.

  3. Sugar
Adds extra sweetness. You can adjust the quantity based on how sweet the mangoes are, and according to your taste preference.

  4. Water
Thins out the mango pulp to make it drinkable and light.

  5. Ice Cubes
Keeps the drink cold and refreshing, especially in hot weather.

  6. Mint Leaves (for garnish)
Adds a fresh aroma and enhances the presentation with a pop of green. It's optional.

Steps to Make Mango Lemonade

  1. Prepare the Mangoes
Peel the mangoes and cut them into cubes. Remove the seed.

  2. Squeeze the Lemons or Limes
Squeeze fresh lemons or limes and set the juice aside.

  3. Blend Everything
In a blender, combine mango cubes, lemon/lime juice, sugar, and water. Blend until smooth.

  4. Strain the Juice
Pour the blended mixture through a fine sieve to remove any mango fibers.

  5. Serve
Add ice cubes to a glass. Pour in the prepared mango lemonade, stir well, and garnish with mint leaves. Serve chilled.

Tips and Tricks to Improve Flavor

  • Add a pinch of black salt or chaat masala for an Indian-style twist.

  • A small piece of fresh ginger can give a light spicy kick.

  • Use honey or jaggery as a natural sweetener instead of sugar.

  • Chill the mangoes in advance, and use chilled water for an instantly cold drink without needing extra ice.

  • Great for summer get-togethers and kids’ parties.
